ENGINE Launches E-commerce Site for FOG Free Technologies

FOG Free Technologies needed to make their cleaning chemicals available online. Engine handled branding, overall online strategy consultation, user-interface design, Drupal theme development, e-commerce development, and search engine optimization and marketing.

The site’s focus is, of course, selling products. Every page is designed to lead to the store, where customers can order with ease.

We created a clean user interface that could easily be expanded as the store’s offerings grew. Its color scheme was inspired by FFT’s environmentally friendly wastewater solutions.

Part of the SEO strategy was making an article-based reference catalog. We brainstormed actual reasons why customers would need FFT products (including many based on true stories), then wrote Solutions for each of these problems. These are all tagged and keyword-conscious, great for SEO.

Tools we used included Drupal, Ubercart, Paypal, and several key Drupal modules like the Drupal taxonomy system and Thickbox.

Margaret Mead Film Fest '08 Website Up & Running

Our task: create a section for the Margaret Mead Film & Video Festival that fit the American Museum of Natural History website’s feel, but in a distinct fashion. To that end, we decided to go with breathing room for big, crisp images. Did we pull it off? You be the judge.

Be sure to click around the rest of the AMNH website so you can get a feel for how our contribution fits in. And let us know what you think!

SERVING the New Cobb Atlanta Volleyball Website

Ever had to dig through one mass calendar, hunting for the events that applied to you? Total pain. ENGINE’s customized Drupal groups tool allows each Cobb Atlanta volleyball team to manage its own schedule, blog, photos, and roster.

Plus, we designed CAV a clean, colorful layout, complete with random header images of their athletes and a group blog that’s easy for the league to keep up.

Visit CobbAtlanta.com to take a look at how it works.

Brand-new Site for Atlanta Artist India Harvey

That’s right; we did India’s site.

An incredibly massive project? Well, no, it’s just a few pages with a nice, crisp design… wasn’t all that overwhelming.

Did we feel humbled to be providing a service for a billion people? Ok, her site is search-engine-visible, but it really doesn’t get that kind of traffic.

Wait, I think you’re thinking of this India. We’re talking about the artist from metro Atlanta. What an amusing mixup! Swing by her personal site here.

Atlanta Artist Shanda McCloskey's New Website

Our very own Shanda McCloskey’s personal site shows off some of her best illustrations… And it also shows how much a website can accomplish by embracing clean minimalist design. Try out her site’s custom image viewer.

Our friend Zachary Brown: A fantastic abstract painter

We painted this painting for Zach.

That’s not true. We don’t paint.

But we did consult with him on his SEO, content, and general development plans; help him install and setup WordPress; and port content from his old blog. And we’re just itching to design him a custom WordPress theme and so forth, soon as the time is right.

We’ve diagnosed your walls: they lack Zach, but this is an easy fix.
